The ordered was ready to be picked up on time

Seldom eaten so badly the sausage was cold and the fries were unsalted. My partner's food was horrible on the steak, small almost black mushrooms and on top of that 2 handfuls of dry onions it looked really disgusting!

We have been there many times and so today. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Schnitzel meat, ????? Tasted like old fat, lettuce was completely forgotten, pasta dishes sauce soggy. A pity !!!! Here the quality has probably suffered from Corona !!!

The food used to be great ... now, depending on the cook who is present: meat is often dry and tough! Pizza was sometimes half raw, salad was often forgotten to eat ... Despite several telephone calls and personal addresses, no change! TOO BAD! You are actually one of the restaurants in Würzburg that you absolutely have to visit if you like Franconian traditions and good food!

I ordered 2 curry sausages with fries to take away last Friday evening. After waiting over 20 minutes, I was pampted stupidly when asked. When I received the food after 25 minutes, I was assured again that the curry sausages always included french fries. At home I noticed that there was only one sausage in a thin sauce in the two small aluminum bowls. The fries were completely missing! For the 2 small sausages without anything I paid 15 €! That's a bad joke, never again.

Karthäuser is recommended for everyone who likes traditional Franconian dishes. There is also a little something "international", but actually you go to the Karthauser for half a chicken and a pork.

The worst restaurant I have ever been to. Ordered a knuckle that was covered in pepper, extremely dry and inedible. The knuckle went completely back into the kitchen. The greatest insolence was that the boss wanted this knuckle to be paid for. After a back & forth, he took her cheekiness to try something at all. The schnitzel that my husband ordered was not meat, but pressed something that was frozen. The fried potatoes & onions were burned. All in all, just gross stuff.

The pizza is awful! They wanted to sell me bread dough as pizza dough The pizza wasn't even through in the middle, a completely burnt outside and inedible I also found a spot that was green! Absolutely disgusting

Delicious chicken. Tender and crispy, the salad fresh and tasty and the fries crispy. This is how food should and should taste.

Christmas dinner with colleagues: Based on the recommendation of a colleague, we went to Karthaus for Christmas dinner this year. The selection of dishes is varied. The prices in this good middle-class restaurant are okay. The food is delicious and the waiting time was normal. We (7 people) received our dishes at the same time. The Karthäuser has already come in a bit, but it fits in brilliantly with this great rustic atmosphere. It should be noted, however, that after the visit you smell quite strongly of deep fryer.

Good food, even if we ordered "blind": only German menu, nobody speaking English in the restaurant, but, we Google Translate, we ended up ordering well. Very German atmosphere and prices were acceptable.

Old-established Würzburg restaurant with home-style cooking, changing weekly menu and chicken grill (also to take away). Rather rustic furnishing style with possibility to sit outside (directly on the street). Unfortunately, the food was not all at the same time on the table and the side dishes with delay, moderate visit me incomprehensible, the taste, however, there is nothing to complain about.

My favorite restaurant in Germany. Not just in Würzburg, in Germany. Every time my boyfriend asks me where I want to eat in the city, Karthäuser it is! I love all the kartoffel dishes and of course the chicken, oh and I can’t forget the duck either! Everyone is always happy with their choice, I haven’t seen anything that doesn’t look or taste amazing yet. I bring everyone who isn’t from Germany here when they visit me. I’ll be visiting tomorrow with my aunt and uncle from America.

Restaurant with classic German cuisine. The food was really good at a great price. The operation is attentive and fast. The restaurant also has a street-view sale so you can take your meal with you. Hi. Every body, I want to share some knowledge of this restaurant with my own experience. Last year 2017 .I worked on this restaurant in kitchen as a helper. I saw here is no use fresh food, there are fungus food use in every item. They are use all time cheap käse and expired meat blue colour. They make all types of sauce with waste food. I said many times this is not good, stop it. But nobody listen me. My soul not allowed me to serve this type of food, and then I leaved the restaurant. Great ambiance and customer friendly.

I had the schweinhaxe+beer as the special of the day. It was delicious, one of the best I ever had. The place is simple, great food and good service and great price (and you are few hundred meters from the touristic center!).

We had two of the day's special: schweinshaxe and schweinsbraten. Both were very tasty, but the schweinshaxe is one of the best we have tried. The staff is kind and helpful. It is worth trying out!
